A seer of Hanumangarhi Mandir, Mahant Sanjay Das, on Tuesday invited Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to stay at Ayodhya temple.

The Congress leader lost membership of the Lower House of Parliament after a Surat court convcited and sentenced him in a 2019 criminal defamation case. The case pertained to a remark he made using the surname ‘Modi’ while adressing a campain event ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Gandhi was recently served a notice to vacate the bungalow following his disqualification from Lok Sabha on being convicted by a Gujarat court in a criminal defamation case and awarded a two-year sentence.
